This is Mandy's sister, Sally, posting on the Parson blog in the interest of getting some pictures up of the little angel ASAP! Mandy is having technical difficulties.
Kinsey Shae Parsons entered the world on November 24th at about 5:50 PM. Weighing in at 8 pounds and 9 ounces she takes the cake for the biggest baby on the Cooper side of the family. She was 20 inches long. She has some seriously long fingers and toes. However, she is mostly just adorable and lovable.
Now for a word about the parents...Kalen was a great little coach through the delivery. And Mandy...well, she was still herself managing to make a few jokes here and there despite being tired, uncomfortable, and a little discouraged. Better than most after a 24 hour ordeal. When Mandy insisted on pushing the epidural button every 2 minutes Kalen would make sure to point out to her that it wasn't doing anything because it would only delivery more drugs every 10 minutes. Kinsey wasn't really crying much when she made her entrance and that worried Mandy. The Doctor quickly reassured Mandy that Kinsey was fine and that she would have plenty of time to listen to her cry later on. Mandy was still worried.
